Robotic Systems Integrator

Position Description

RMT is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Systems Integration Department as Robotic Systems Integrator.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • The design and development of database and interface applications that integrate RMT robotic systems with our customer’s production and data management systems.
  • The programming and combination of various automation technologies (robots, vision systems, conveyors, etc.) into highly integrated systems.
  • Working with highly skilled mechanical, electrical, project management and software development professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest levels of safety and quality.
  • Travel to commission and support systems at customer facilities.

    • The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Electrical, Controls or Software Engineering diploma/degree.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in developing interface and Database software (Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Transact-SQL).
    • Experience developing Applications in Visual Basic and/or Visual Studio.Net .
    • Experience in commissioning RF Wireless technologies in an industrial environment is an asset.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and team skills.
    • Excel in a customer-focused environment.
    • Able to travel in North America and abroad.
