New Regional Sales Manager, Tire Systems

Exciting news this month from the Sales and Marketing department…after an exhaustive search, RMT Robotics has named Don Heelis, P. Eng, our new Regional Sales Manager of Tire Systems.

Don comes to RMT from a diverse background of project, engineering and account management positions with top B2B organizations. Thoroughly experienced in the sales process and in the closing of major contracts, Don will be responsible for all tire system sales in the North and South American markets. He will act as an anchor for the growing North American market allowing Bill to focus on current and new clients in emerging markets, Europe and Asia.

We are confident that RMT and our clients will benefit from Don’s in-depth experience in flexible automation, articulated and custom robotic solutions as well as material handling systems. He is also a mechanical engineer, a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Outside of work, Don and his family live in Georgetown, Ontario. Don is an avid hockey enthusiast, enjoys skiing and hitting the links. He is also an OMHA (Ontario Minor Hockey Association) certified coach and trainer.
