RMT ROBOTICS TO SHOWCASE INTELLIGENT AGV AT CeMAT

See ADAM™ in action as RMT Robotics demonstrates its category-defining intelligent AGV (i-AGV) at the upcoming CeMAT Intralogistics Fair in Hannover, Germany. Built for the rigors of busy, congested warehouse and manufacturing environments, ADAM adapts to make automated transport and delivery tasks possible where they simply weren't before.
"ADAM delivers the functionality of a conveyor system, but without the complexities typically associated with fixed infrastructure," says Pierre Pinet, ADAM Product Manager, Global Operations at RMT Robotics. "Consider it a virtual conveyor, providing the same functionality as a fixed asset, but with the ability to reconfigure at the click of a mouse”. It means total flexibility for operations managers.”
RMT’s ADAM has a big advantage over other AGVs, because its cutting-edge navigation technology eliminates the need for floor and wall-mounted wires, markers or sensors that can be damaged or blocked from view. "That means operational freedom," says Pinet. "With this i-AGV, we’re able to seamlessly connect geographically dispersed work cells and process equipment without having to lay down a track in between."
Manufacturers around the globe have already adopted ADAM technology for work-in-progress (WIP) delivery, and in order to meet the increase in product demand, RMT has launched a global ADAM System Partner network.
“RMT will be able to bring this innovative technology to customers everywhere, through trusted partners worldwide,” reveals Pinet. “Our goal is to build a solid team of integrators, comprised of regional and international material handling organizations, that have the technical knowledge, expertise and above all, a commitment to exceptional service.”
